One possibility is that I will appoint a moderator (or moderators) to this forum, while retaining my role as administrator.
If you think you might like to be a moderator, email me at ozjazzforum@optusnet.com.au and explain why you would like to do it and what you would like to achieve. As administrator I hold the right not to appoint anybody, to terminate anyone's appointment or promote other members to moderator status.
The overall forum design and style will remain in my hands but moderators will be able to (and will be expected to) delete posts, prioritise them, ban members, make announcements, enforce the code of conduct etc. They may also wish to discuss design enhancements with me.
Moderators will need to be reasonably computer-savvy, though if you can easily navigate all the features of the forum as a member, you should be OK.
Moderators will be expected to identify themselves to the forum under a real (full) name.
