Again Timothy: F*ck off and leave me alone. You do know that 'no' really does mean 'no' right? I have no interest in you whatsoever. Im hoping you will eventually get the message.

Another great setting for jazz: outdoors! The sound carries beautifully amongst the trees.. and there is a definite ambience that just blends in with birdcalls and all that. Hmm.. wonder what Messaien would have to say about birdcalls and jazz tunes? EDIT: one jazz concert that was awesome (yup Im contradicting myself) Back at the 'old' Brisbane con, a concert in the old Basil Jones Hall had musos positioned around different parts of the hall - on the stage, behind the audience members, up in the wings.. the differing placements of instrumental music was quite incredible. The acoustics were amazing. It was a Tim Davies concert LOL If anyone remembers Tim Davies.... bring on the humphrey b bear memories

I've never attended a Jazz performance, so I'm not really qualified to pass judgement on the various permutations of it, but I often find Jazz loses a great deal of its signifiance when others intrude upon my listening...I remember a particularly fine train ride after purchasing Miles Davis' Aura and being completely and utterly enveloped by the textures of the music...Transcendental experience, I tell ye

I can't say that's how I prefer my jazz, but it's certainly how I prefer my train rides.
