I enjoyed Lizbon Bar, and played at least 3 great phrases in my two nights there. Ralph Magazine described it as "Australia' sexiest bar" and I think I found out why. Did anyone hear the live broadcast of my "classical" piece? Just came now from the post-concert pub hang with the TSO musos who did an amazing job on a very hard piece.

Sorry Mark, I missed it as well. Is it possible to listen to it via the net? Did you have it recorded? I'm sure the TSO was glad to have a break from playing Beethoven again!
Lisbon is a great little bar...space is odd though, I agree cap'n.
Did you catch 'Recliner' on sat night Mark? The Reverend Muir on B3. Brilliant.

But they start at 11pm and I'd been burning the candle at both ends a bit and fell asleep in my hotel!  I'm not sure if yesterday's Sunday Live broadcast of my piece is available at the ABC site to stream or download. Might be. Anyway I'm getting a copy from the ABC so can rip an mp3 and provide a link to download it on a limited distribution list - so anyone who'd like it send me an email and I'll put you on the distrib list for the link (Mal, I think this is still "private use" as per the indemnity the ABC obliged me to sign) |
