"Recently revived after a long hiatus during Lebanon's 1975 to 1990 civil war, the festival was to start on July 13 with shows by Deep Purple and Dizzy Gillespie and an opening-night comeback performance by legendary Lebanese diva Fairouz."

Well, I suspect it's a Dizzy alumni band that does the circuit these days (Faddis, Slide Hampton, Moody, John Lee etc).
