Hey guys, 3 of the members of Bucketrider, have a newish project with legendary Dutch saxophonist, Kris Wanders of Globe Unity Orchestra fame.
The group is called Embers and features:
Kris Wanders - Alto Saxophone
Adam Simmons - Tenor Saxophone
Dave Brown - Electric Bass
Sean Baxter - Drum Kit
It's kinda like relentless grindcore in the late 60's free jazz tradition - think of Peter Brotzmann mixed with Passenger of Shit and you get the idea.
Anyway, we got a gig coming up at Bar Open this Thursday, on a bill that also features emerging experimental musicians, Emily Williams and Chris Rainier.
