Hey all, am just about to leave for a week of gigs in Thailand.Thought I'd quickly mention that I have put together a nonet to play the great charts form the "Birth Of The Cool" album at the Melbourne International Brass Festival On Sep 25th. Thanks guys, it really has been fascinating checking the music out. It is amazing how 'modern' alot of it is, and also alot of it is not very 'cool'!! Some of the tempos are up there.

Am back, had an amazing trip to Thailand. played lots of great gigs! Got to have lunch with Belinda Moody (who was doing an incredible job playing with Ernie Watts).
Hope some of you can catch this B.Of The Cool gig.
