nice guy, yeah, thats what some say, well where's my wang gig? I keep asking, sending in my cd's and the answer is always the same, I want a gig, I can sing the fuck out of all the rest, and my piano chops are firing.
I'm like Joe Chindamo wrapped up with Elana Stone, and for just one fee!
Ok, so my tits aren't as good as Joe's, but I love the Palestinians!

I think adrian does a great job with his selection for Wang. Just cause some people dont get a gig doesn't mean he's doing bad job. The people who play there are a good mix of the established, up and coming, fringe and mainstream. Adrian must have a hard job with such a range of music to choose from so if he doeen's fit people in I think that's understandable.

umm... what is that in response to? I don't recall anyone saying Adrian does a bad job... That seems to be pettman responding to his own, earlier lament of the lack of his personal recognition, vide: nice guy, yeah, thats what some say, well where's my wang gig? I keep asking, sending in my cd's and the answer is always the same, I want a gig, I can sing the fuck out of all the rest, and my piano chops are firing. But such inconsistency for a man who loves both Albare and the Palestinians should be easy. We all remember Dadon's golden contribution on that old topic. Nevertheless I'm thrilled for Albare that he has such a firm friend and fervent admirer, and I hope he hangs on to him longer than he did Carlo, the last stooge to fill that position.

I'm sorry for the confusion, I was playing a little devils advocate on that early post. I've heard musicians complain too many times about not being on at Wangaratta that I thought I'd have a little dig. I truly support Adrian and his festival and the joy it bring to us many jazz fans. I relish the opportunity to see any international music as I don't get the chance to travel. I'll try from now to refrain from jest, especially racial comments, sorry. I know how touchy this can be for some.

What medication is Mr Clare on? Quite a rave that one, still its very expressive and entertaining. He must have quite different taste to me, I must say though, its always nice to hear someone else's point of view. He does 'understand' things that escape me.
