Does anyone know what the selection criteria is for the board and anything about their governance style, do they have a strategic plan for example. I am curious to know if they are hands on micro managers or just professional governors. How do you get on the MIJF board? Can't find the info on the website.

Dear Bob
I agree wholeheartedly Bob, but I have heard so many 'whispers chinoise' about problems with the board and process etc and I like to find out all the facts before I start lobbying for democracy if in fact it is called for. (Otherwise I'll get my chubby knuckles whacked).
Incidentally, Mr Adrian Jackson deserves a gong for his services to Australian Jazz, I do hope the MIJF board realise that and are giving him the kudos he deserves. Jim McCleod has one so why not Adrian? He has certainly worked hard enough they should also be taking him and the team somewhere outrageusly expensive for dinner (at the Board's expense please too). But I am sure they have done something already if not it is probably in the pipeline.
If they have the Flower Drum thing what I wanna know is how come I didn't get invited too for my voluntary services for the charming Mr Wally.
Attention M. Albert! Your manners are looking as bad as Kenny's. Tsk Tsk Tsk.
