Twas quite a "vicious and alluring sonic experience", that Thembi Soddell and Jim Denley. Quite frightening really; very effective.

As for the James Annesley Quartet, I was enjoying them very much, until a crazy man showed up and sat directly in front of them and began to heckle, or so I thought. Actually, I think he just wanted to be involved. According to him, Harry is Jon Christensen, Pat is Don Cherry, and he told James that he plays the C blues scale on clarinet. Then he just rambled on for quite some time about ECM, not really caring if anyone was paying attention... he was nuts, but he seemed to know his shit about ECM.
