Quite right, I just know a few people who think it's a feather in their cap. On a personal level, yeah it's nice to play to a decent crowd, but I'd take a small attentive crowd over a large crowd who don't give a shit any day. I've been in pretty small audiences at great gigs in my time too - I remember going to one of your gigs in Sydney a few years ago guts, where the audience barely outnumbered the band, but that gig had a profound effect on me musically. I'm sure a lot of us have had similar experiences.
