The Matt McMahon Trio has a new release on Kimnara records:Ellipsis
featuring Matt, Jono Brown and myself. The CD includes original tunes by Matt, and an Irish folk song "The Maid of Coolmore". To find out more visit www.kimnara.com.au
Also on the site is some live footage of Daorum, a collaborative group featuring pansori singer Bae Il Tong, Matt McMahon, Phil Slater, Carl Dewhurst and myself, recorded at the Jeonju Sori Festval, Korea, last year.

I agree gid, that is some amazing and unique music, what a singer! I love the way Carl and Simon work in this setting, there understanding of each other and the space is nothing short of astonishing.
I'd love to see the whole gig to get an idea of the overall effect of the structure, hopefully I'll be lucky enough to see them at the Queensland Music Festival in July.
I look forward to checking out Matts disk soon too.
