different project. and no, it doesn't. A few artists playing in the fringe are in the MJF. It's still showing a broad cross-section of the jazz community in Melbourne, I think anyway.

oh, and if you are playing a gig at the fest, PLEASE promote your gig - get listed in the age, beat, inpress free listings etc (might be too late already!?). get an interview on radio. reinforce all the publicity we have been trying to get! take advantage of the push the festival has. email outs, text messages, myspacing etc... seems obvious i know.

Looking forward to Melbourne but am a little frustrated, can anyone tell me who is in the bands of Pharoah Sanders and McCoy Tyner.
