I really enjoyed what I heard of Trio Apoplectic, but felt it was a shame that they had to go on so late. Second band in a two-band show is always disadvantaged if things kick off at 9.30pm and the first band plays for 70 minutes. And they had such sympathy and depth, it was a delight to hear. I hated to leave when I did. But one tires, and there are only so many late night trains.
