AJ, the time is ripe for an all in Bass festival this year at Wang. Every band on the program should be bassplayer-led! We can also have a bass choir, and a competition to see who had the most gigs last sunday. (I believe the current title is held by Geoff Kluke, with 11 gigs on the 23rd of march, 1983).

Ha ha, the 'creative and contemporary' artists could perform a piece where 200 people's mobile phones are ringing 'giant steps' during a bass solo.

Thanks for all the support I have received re: volunteers
All we need now is a few extra helpers tomorrow at Fed Square. All ya gotta do is hand out programs while Big Fela are playing two mad sets. Free tickets to festival gigs apply!

A deep, if belated, thankyou to the organisers and musicians and all who were involved in any way. On the Big A Day I heard some music that made me think, some that made me feel, and some that made me just want to dance. What a lovely day.
