Such diversity amongst the jazz nominees - the music must be in a healthy state indeed.....

Dark. But as someone pointed out, an Aria is certainly not going to change anyone's fortunes in the Aus Jazz 'Industry', so its sure not worth losing sleep over.
I have met someone who has a say on the Jazz award, John Durr from Blackmarket music.

Yes, let's all blame the artists for being nominated. It is all their fault.

No, no. We all know where the fault lies.

John Howard? Oh wait, we can't blame him anymore for everything.

And while we are speaking of Wangaratta Festival versus the Melbourne City Circle tram...
The Tram now has it's own theme song, a la John Williams in a reggae stylee.
"When you catch the Circle tram Then you will understand The lay of our bonza land..."
Do you see, we have far more important things to worry about.

Do you see, we have far more important things to worry about. Such as, for example, the apostrophe intruding into the possessive 'its'. Sheesh, haven't we been here before? Between the ARIAs and crap spelling and grammar, sometimes I feel like we're really getting nowhere.

I'm worried about your growing use of slang, and your apostrophe fetish Dr Stevens. It's pushed the tram right off the agenda. Sheesh! and shouldn't that be Dr Steven's? I'm crap at grammar, I write for a living.

I have met someone who has a say on the Jazz award, John Durr from Blackmarket music. And what did he have to say about it?? BTW I'm right into the correct use of apostrophes... good on you for fighting the good fight Dr S. Apostrophes are lovely things, they should be cared for and respected and put where they belong. I know this sounds kind of weird but I really mean it...
