I have romano and parmesan at home, being on a bit of Italian kick at the moment.

I like it runny, if you don't like it, hard cheese!

Ho ho. I should've known an anti-sport philistine such as you would go for that namby pamby stuff.

Yes, runny and stinking of ammonia, just like the men's room at your beloved "game".

No, no, no - you've got it all wrong, Mark. For just those sort of reasons, I would NEVER set foot at a "game" venue and thus soil and sully footwear that has set foot in such palatial venues as Bennetts Lane and, er, The River Bar & Grill.
OK, I did take Bennie to a Storm match a few weeks back.
But mostly, overwhelmingly my sports viewing is of the couch potato variety, books and remote control and records and runny cheese as back-up at all times.

Two cheeses: Tallegio - it's Italian, smelly, runny, strong as Melbourne Storm and divine. Not easy to find but worth ever penny/cent/yen or lire you pay for it.
And a new Australian organic hard cheese called Ironstone (not to be confused with Ironguts) from Piano Hill (subliminal advertising? who knows!) The taste brings to mind a love child of the great Italian, Formaggio Parmigiano Reggiano and the velvety-textured-yet-crumbly melt in your mouth Tasmanian, Merseydale Mature Cheddar.

Dear Mr Isaacs
I would love to do the cheese thing sometime. Have you been to Richmond Hill Cafe and Cheese Larder? The cheese room is fun. Best bring your platinum AmEx too and a refrigerated lorry.
I recall having tried to tempt you to other Melbourne eating experiences but you are always too busy. Yet myself such a brilliant, yet modest, chef. Shame about that.
Next time you are here we must do the OJF dining thing, you OJFers are welcome to come to my place, East St Kilda. Anyone who can't eat garlic or chillies or is allergic to wheat and doesn't like piano trios playing original material can stay home, everyone else is welcome.
bon soir
