I always love a good sense of humour, but I think sometimes people cross the line. Personally I think musicians of the calibre that have been defamed in this thread should be respected, not "bullied".

No, I don't think it is common at all, I know it is! It used to upset me that this ancient word is frequently used by Aussies to describe the despicable but my thinking on that has changed and nowadays I think women should reclaim the word.
