Polar is great, though quite different to Brownie's'', you could say it's quite polar,,,,

... you could say it's quite polar,,,, Do mean that people who listen to it will be polarised? (On my cd player — a bit old fashioned — the 20-minute fourth track jumps to track five after a couple of minutes. The iPod's OK with it, though)

I'm sure they will actually, which is cool, I think that can be a good thing for a strong statement like this. I mean, Marc polarizes people anyhow, love him or really love him,,,,

Polar is great, though quite different to Brownie's'', you could say it's quite polar,,,, I loved what I've heard of Browne's recording with Marc and went to buy it online from Jazzhead but the postage put the price up to 37 bucks so I am waiting to buy it at a gig now. I wonder how many CDs they sell online with such a high P & P price. Seems a lot to me. Am I being stingy?

Buy it on the gig, hopefully the artist sees more then too? Definitely worth buying though however you do it.
Pizza sounds good. Not sea food though I hope? Never really works, or does it?

Awesome. In the true meaning of the word. (Not the way the kids - and their parents - use it).

Polar is great, though quite different to Brownie's'', you could say it's quite polar,,,, Don't want to start a new thread, but I've reviewed Polar for the Sunday Bun this weekend. Usual conundrum: what to put for the "file between". I'm not that fussed, because it does not matter, but at this stage I've put File between: Colin Hopkins and Tim Stevens. Do any other (reasonably sensible) suggestions come to mind? (Goes to press this arvo)

Between Colin and Artisans' Workshop, maybe. Although maybe not Colin, and maybe not me. There's gotta be something more in common than mere instrumentation.

My choice was not really based only on choice of instrument. Maybe Scott Tinkler and Artisans Choice would be better, but I don't know a lot about the latter and do not have much time. Maybe Colin Hopkins and Antripodean Collective? whatever it is, it will be inadequate
