I've been awaiting the release of the programme for the festival but today when I visited the site www.melbournejazz.com/ it seems the website account has been suspended! WTF? Can anyone shed any light on all of this?

My guess is they're working on it so it's ready to go tomorrow, once the program has been announced.

All looks great as long as Joshua Redman promises not to play organ, and to keep his shirt on!

Should be a great band! I like the concept of a free concert at Fed Square......hope there isn't too much ambient sound from passing trams or bogans.

Fantastic. I never thought I would say it, but well done Mr Tortoni! I have a feeling Sophie Brous might have a lot to do with it though. Either way, things are looking up. Just went to the Loop Collective Festival in London the other day at the Vortex. Great stuff. Highlights: Fraud (feat James Alsopp - sax & Stian Westerhus - guitar... amazing), Ivo Neame Quartet (feat Jim Hart - vibes), Blink (feat Alcyona Mick - piano & Robin Fincker - sax), Outhouse (feat Tom Challenger & Robin Fincker - winds). Check them out: www.loopcollective.org
