Can't even say (i.e. I'm not sure). It's too long ago. And I don't listen to it very often...

Haha.
More Rufus Wainwright! Poses. Whilst flicking through my new purchase, the modern vegetarian kitchen by Peter Berley, who, incidentally, was a student of Lennie Tristano, before deciding to become a chef.

Ahoy jazzlers. Ryryry here from Nippon. Registered today - good to see that everyone is keeping it clean and wholesome.
On the pod:
Bob Glasper - Moods (kickin atmospheric version of Maiden Voyage on track 1) Michiko Yagi - Seventeen - this is wicked , solo improvised bass koto. Bill Frissell - The Willies Slim Gaillard - Laughing in Rhythm Nat Cole trio - Best of the early years

Jeffrey Frederick - Oh La La Les Clams Jeffrey Frederick And The Clamtones - B.C. Steve Weber And The Holy Modal Rounders - B.C. Sisco And Pals - The End Of The Trail
Wacko, raucous, goofy, psycheeeedelick rockin' country and assorted mayhem that, with Michael Hurley another paid-up member, constitutes a long-running "tribe" of hell-raisers of the only-in-America variety. Got these offa the site run Frederick's widow, Kathryn.

In the course of packing up the house to move: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, The Good SonWhat a load of old crap. Utter hogwash from start to finish. How ever could I have taken this seriously? [/i][/quote] At least you weren't in a band with him.

But I did once see him in casual mode (if such a thing can be imagined - he was still in the powder blue suit with his hair done) taking a kid onto the scenic railway at Luna Park where I was enjoying a friend's buck's night.

Bob Wills & His Texas Playboys - Take Me Back To Tulsa. Four discs, more than 100 tunes and every one a classic. Now that I'm getting back to my pre-jazz roots, I'm overwhelmed at just how, er, jazzy thse guys are. Not pretend, wannabe jazz, but the real thing - and a whole lot more.
James Morrison/Joe Chindamo - 2x2. I agree with Mark - this sounds great.
Irma Thomas - After The Rain.
Sir Douglas Quintet - Live From Austin.
Darek Oles - Like a Dream.
Sisco & Pals - The End Of The Trail.

Paul Chambers, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Sarah Vaughan - got a copy of old jazz film with clips from just about everyone including a hot, young, swinging Peggy Lee.

LOL Cave's piano playing skills really are scary. Whoa! Get me out of wherever he is he when he is near a piano thanx. You know he, actually had lessons! He's talented in many ways but that isn't one of them.

Chick Corea: Friends
I love smurfs. Why arent there enuff smurfs in the world? ^^ I wonder about that quite often. If Chick loves Smurfs we ALL should love smurfs, and not just because Liszt's D Min Concerto is in there for Gargamel. *crazy
