They didnt let on they were scientologists. But then.. theyd have to be wouldnt they? Since Chick doesnt play with non-scientologists musos apparerently. But how can it be guaranteed that every quality muso is a scientologist? dunno.
The smurfs havent done anything! Smurfette would prolly like to give you a huggle and a daisy if you approached her nicely. Smurfs are our friends. - Even Steve Gadd loves them because he plays with them too! And everyone knows Steve Gadd is the mother f*cker of our generation ;D

Actually, I lie - I'm an equal opportunity smurf hater. Scientologist, non-Scientologist, Lefty, Tory, purple, tall, short, bulemic, whatever - they all sucks.

I didn't know about that album till I got on Pandora.
I started with Keith Jarrett -- for about an hour and a half it was pretty stock standard keith-esque choices, but then got very out there and different..
I also liked Claude Bolling's Baroque and Blue

Yeah if you were wondering the title track is an arrangment of the Hendrix tune. Beautiful ballad In This Moment is one to die for. Orderable from the VJO website - www.vanguardjazzorchestra.com.
