huh? okay...
Anyway, Im listening to Chaka Khan: whatcha gonna do for me.
Goddam wikkid. and the video that belongs to this cd strangely enough has Vinnie Cailuto (sp sorry.. Ive been sucking on my vodka bottle) playing which is awesome.. cos I want Vinnie's babies. not my husband babies - only Vinnie's babies. And strangely enough, my husband understands.
If anyone sees Vinnie, you can tell him there's a lil black girl who wants his babies. ;D

I'm not sure Gideon. I've just ordered a pile of stuff of his from Amazon and I had a rave to Frank D last night about him. He told me about a piece that sits on the V chord for about an hour, then the last 5 mins is the on I. And then you're left mute....

Pronounced: pear-t with that weired thing you do with your tongue on the roof of your mouth just before you pronounce the 'T'..(or somebody elses mouth as the circumstances dictate....)

That Chaka album is great. Nice little cameo from Herbie too. ooo I totally love you The cameo youre talking about is where he's doing that ridiculously fast and incredible keys solo over Charlie's 1946 recording yeh? In "And The Melody still Lingers on" I am proud to say, I was the first Brisbane chick to perform that too. Ingrid James has since inserted that into her repertoire.. damn awesome tune. and yes WIKKID! ahem: currently popped on Steve Gadd Loops. I dunno why. I blame it on the alcomohol ;D

There's a great DVD of Chaka from around the time of "Whatcha Gonna Do For Me" with the Brecker Brothers wearing some, well, interesting clothes, and Chaka rather lacking in the breast support department. Slightly distrubing.

LOL I KNOW THAT ONE!!! omg.. I actually had to close my eyes becos the breastage was a crushing my dreamy adoring vision of her. LOLs. I think it was.. damn.. I keep thinking Jazz Standards.. or blue note or something. Barney Loveland would know *cheeky grin. Its his DVD. LOL
Holy Hell GLEN!! I LOVE YOU!!! You saw Chaka. *sits back with a glazed look in eye. I had a mate who was gigging in london and she turned up and sang a tune. He played drums behind her. I stared at him freakily for an entire day after he told me LOL
