I don't know and I don't really care, but the Catholic's new album is really good or at least it was last week because now I have dug out an old Hank Mobley CD "Soul Station".

He was originally gonna be on Life On Earth, but he got too preachy, so they had to shaft him.

The Bad Plus: Prog
It will be looked for, book, when some but see Thy title, Epigrams, and named of me, Thou should'st be bold, licentious, full of gall, Wormwood, and sulphur, sharp, and toothed withal; Become a petulant thing, hurl ink, and wit, As madmen stones: not caring whom they hit. Deceive their malice, who could wish it so. And by thy wiser temper, let men know Thou art not covetous of least self-fame. Made from the hazard of another's shame: Much less with lewd, profane, and beastly phrase, To catch the world's loose laughter, or vain gaze. He that departs with his own honesty For vulgar praise, doth it too dearly buy. — Ben Jonson

Peter Evans - More is More - heavy solo trumpet in the Evan Parker vein
Showa 44 - Ormus - Sublime, I love these guys
Marc Hannaford - Garden of Forking Paths - yes I'm on it, but only 3 tracks, this is a very heavy album! Marc has copies for sale, not in shops yet.
Phil Slater - The Thousands - There is so much to listen to on this CD, the band is there the whole time, really great band. Also, go Kimnara!!!

Go OzJazz! High rotation of Winkelman's new one, Zac Hurren's CD, Trio Apoplectic, and Peter Baylor's new record. All awesome! Even if Pete's isn't Jazz, its country. I hope you've heard it Kenny.
Also, Zac is a bad muthafucka
